Baghdad Council Announces the Allocation of 55 Billion Dinars to Reduce Poverty

Follow-up – and babysit – Council approved the province of Baghdad, on Thursday, the allocation of 55 billion dinars within the regional development plan to reduce poverty, pointing out that the amounts will be spent for the construction of housing units and low cost to poor families.

The head of the Economic Commission Nawal al-Araji, in a press statement, said that “after the adoption of the budget plan will be developed between the council and the province, in order to identify areas where it will be set up residential complexes,” asserting that “the plan will include the rehabilitation of schools.”

She explained that “the province is facing a problem in exchange Mlyardinar 55, due to lack of approval by the House of Representatives on the adoption of the budget.”
